Hi guys,
First of all, I'm really sorry for my English. I'm from Switzerland, but I couldn't find a good Mad Men forum in German, so I will try my luck here
I have a comprehension question about the last episode in the second season 'Meditations in an Emergency'. At the end of the episode, Peggy talks with Pete about her baby and that she gave it away. And then she tries to explain why, but I just cannot understand what she means: I wanted other things... One day you're there and then, all of a sudden there's less of you, and you wonder where that part went, if it's living somewhere outside of you. And you keep thinking maybe you'll get it back. And then you realize it's just gone. I'm really going mad (hihi..) because i just cant understand what she wanna say with that. Does she talk about herself? Is "that part" a code for the baby? maybe someone could explain it to me, that would be great. Thanks a lot, Greeting, Goldfinger |

I dont wish to appear to be pedantic but didnt Peggy give birth to a son? It was Trudy who had the daughter.

Yes right, but I didn't say anything else. "Baby" is neutral..? However, i mean the son of Peggy and Pete.
