Hey Everyone. I actually look a lot like my avatar. It is a good caricature of me. I have a fullbody picture hanging in my office and people comment on it. I did one of my 23 year old son, and he put it on his facebook page. People enjoy it.
Do any of the rest of you resemble your avatar? |

Pretty close! My wife recognized it as me right off the bat.

I don't resemble mine at all. In fact, my avatar is like the Opposite Day version of me.
I made one that "looked like me", but it really didn't look like me at all. So I thought to myself, "as long as it's not going to look like me, I was as well be a perky brunette." (Or whatever that hair color is) |

I grabbed my avatar last year off the artist’s Dyna Moe site who was eventually tapped to create art for the show’s web site.
It looks nothing like me. I picked it because it was the silliest creature of Kensey who looked/acted like a pompous ass hosting his party. Unfortunately, I think sometimes my avatar doesn’t do me any favors in winning someone over on an argument. The illustrations smarmines’s bleeds off the screen. In real life on my best day I could look like Don Draper on his very worst. Someone should add a new post to go along with the "how old you are" to "where do you live?" I wonder how spread out everyone is. Me- San Clemente, CA |

Yep - except my hair is longer and the beard is mixed with white.

What a great question! Yes, I believe that if I worked at Sterling Copper than I would resemble my avatar. Currently, I do not smoke nor do I wear make-up often. In fact, I just keep my hair short, but I don't style it at all. Okay, now I feel like a troll... in Denver, CO.

Not so much. I've been told I look something like a cross between Robert Vaughn in Man From U.N.C.L.E. and Robert Culp from I Spy...with a few gray hairs.

No. I tried to make her look like me, but she ended up looking like Jane. They didn't have my kind of eyes or face shape.
@James - but the pompous ass look is so awesome! I'm in California split between the SF bay area and LA area. |

I am still trying to get an avatar. It keeps saying my submissions are too big. I'll figure it out. I'm near Boston.

Becky, I had that problem, too. I got one of my kids to change the sizing, but I don't know if they used photoshop, or what.

Look like my avatar?
I kind of do. The hair is a bit different though since it's still a bit shorter - had it buzzed during the summer. The eyeglasses are a bit different, in that I wear more of rectangular thick black rimmed glasses. Oh and yes, I am well under 30 and not white. Also very straight. I would venture to guess that I am the only person on this forum of this exact demographic. I dunno why, but I seem to be the only guy I know who likes the show, follows it religiously, even reads blogs and forums to see what people thought of the episodes! All the better of course because I could then pull quotes, mannerisms, even slick moves without fear of being called on it for unoriginality. Seriously though, I am so rad and original. |

Reviving this thread...
I look fairly similar to mine, although it is a more polished version of myself (me on a big night out?). I used to wear red lipstick in the late 80's, but I never do now. My hair has got quite long lately and I'm able to wear it in this kind of up-do style, which I've been doing alot in the summer heat. I couldn't find my nose, however, so I just left it off! |
