Will the season will end with the Kennedy assassination.
How about if the last episode went on into December, the day after Christmas with the fade-out music being "I Want to Hold Your Hand" or "I Saw Her Standing There"? Or will it be something completely different? |

Sadness. You just reminded me that soon there will be another long MM drought. I've lost track of the year, I didn't realize it was the same as the assassination! I predict the cliffhanger will involve the teacher, and her brother.

Anyone else notice the references to the business being available for sale and earlier Roger mentioning " it's not ours anymore anyway"... I wonder if a buy back with Don being a power play (maybe with Hilton money/backing?)... I just thought the idea of the agency being up for sale was interesting.
I do see Don become more reckless though...esp with this teacher. She had 'red flags' written all over her from the beginning...and she knows exactly what she is doing. (and a bit obsessive: IE: train scene " I don't care about your work, marriage....as long as you are with me"... |

Hilton owning controling interest in SC? That's a frightening thought. That means EVERYONE would be at his beck and call 24/7. Can you imagine Bert and Roger answering 3a.m. phone calls?
I want the moon, Bert. Give me the moon! I see three things converging here all around the same time. The wedding of Roger's daughter on 11/23, JFK in Dallas on 11/22, and now Betty organizing one last family Thanksgiving at her dad's house a few days later. How these all play out, I have no idea. Could the notion of family togetherness at a monumental moment melt Betty's cold, cold heart, and let her forgive Don his past? The teacher and her brother. Both alluded that she had been down this road before. She was very adamant that they meet, and Don never actually saw Danny have a seizure, nor this place he was supposed to be going. Could they be another pair of grifters setting up Don for the long con? |
