Well, my wondering about the title choice was answered. Poor Freddie. I think he had a mild seizure, and ultimately his time coming to an end very soon. I wasn't expecting Duck to be in on the removal of Freddie but I could understand Campbell as he is on a mission to climb the ladder.
Betty is becoming overly weird and I am curious why she pawned Arther off on her friend. I thought Betty and him would fool around. Lastly, I did not anticipate Roger leaving his wife. Is he cheating on her with Don's secretary? I am confused? |

I, too, was stunned when Mona burst into Don's office because I never imagined Roger would end his marriage. His late-night intoxicated conversation with Don really got to him. It appears that Roger's infatuated with Jane, but this show is never exactly as it appears and, for me, that's what keeps me tuning in every week. I'm interested in hearing everyone's ideas about the couch-reclining scenes which were a recurring theme in Ep-9.

so now that peggy is in a position of "power", wonder if she'll start changing her mode of dress and hair and lose the mousey look?..a business suit and no pony tail.
think we'll see that, or would it be too much like a "hollywood" ending? btw the bras the girls wear resulting pointy un natural looking breasts were the thing then, just catch some of the old movies and u'll see thats what most looked like. |

Hi Loren, I've wondered the exact same thing re Peggy's outward transformation. I hope she finally takes Joan's advice: 'you want to be taken seriously, stop dressing like a little girl' and I hope she gets a new hairdo! Grrrr that ponytail is ridiculous.
I'm still thinking about the couch symbolism, if any. |

Betty--I don't think Betty will get the proof of infidelity she wants, but we don't really know what secrets Don has locked away in his desk drawer--maybe his darkest secret of all, Dick Whitman. Does anyone remember if Don destroyed the photos Adam sent? hum, Marilyn's suicide, Adam's suicide. Next episode "the inheritance." It may be a sinister inheritance and not a happy pot of gold. Just wondering.
Betty's gotta be in a state of turmoil: "is he, or isn't he"? Without evidence there's room for doubt, and a re-take of the Jimmy Barrett question: "am I crazy"? Betty's motivations for manipulating a Sara Beth-Arthur lunch are beyond me. I'm looking forward to Sunday. |
