i hope old Don will come back, i know i should want good husband good dad Don, but i really liked the powerful don better. i think since the buy out Don lost his edge.
I know that i should agree with betty too, but i really can't seem to sympathsize with her. She should divorce Don, she's been unhappy for a long time. I'm so upset the season ended, it couldnt have ended on a higher note. __________________ ~joanie

This season did seem to drag in many episodes, as more air time was devoted to the Draper family than the SC family. It was just painful to see so much of Betty.
Don and the rest couldn't play their best game because they were hamstrung by all the decisions having to be made from London. But the finale brought everything back together nicely, with the exception of the Ice Queen flying off to Reno with a slimeball lawyer. I can't wait for season 4! |

I'm rewatching the final episode and its like don'S making amends to everyone. i guess with the company take over everyone was just going through the motions and there wasnt any passion anymore.
i really hope the bring salvadore back. i'm liking the new vibe of the team reinventing themselves. i think season 3 was defenitly the unraveling of everyone. i cant wait till the new starts up again. till then ill be revisiting episodes from the last season, great thing about mad men i always catch thing i missed previously, tons of layers and depth __________________ ~joanie

Well, I don't miss the old Don. He sucks. If I'd like to see a womanizer I'd tune Californication. I like the inner strive to be better people each character has. Of course they fail miserably, but I don't find interesting stuff in that mere fact.
Don submited to Pete, Peggy, Betty, Pryce and even himself! All in just one episode. That should be a humbling experience. And think about it, who can stop a honest no-self-centered Don Draper? It sounds boring for TV, but after 3 superb seasons, I think the writers can pull through anything. |
