Why is Mad Men "color scheme" popular in  most forms of advertising media?  You will notice that a number of movies and products are using white/ red/ black colors.

White, red and black are complimentary colours that have always gone well together.

From Coca-Cola to the Nazis and their signage, those colours are always going to be big.
