What was with Joy swimming over to some guy in the pool, while Don looks on eye-balling his drink????  I think it was Joy, nuzzling another man, checked it out a couple of times.

Then we see Don calling somebody, as "Dick Whitman"...what's happening with Don, the whole Palm Springs episode was bizarre...the hotshot MadMan getting involved with these EuroTrash types????

I don't think Joy was the woman with the man in the pool.  I think it was the couple who were arguring hot and heavy in the room next to Don's and Joy's room. Carlos and ??  The woman had much darker hair than Joy's. 
I think Don called someone who knew him as Dick Whitman and Don Draper--knows he's leading a double life. I was struck by the ending with that suitcase being left at the front door of the Draper home. The suitcase was lost, got found and ended up where it belonged.  Maybe a symbol of Don Draper's/Dick Whitman's journey?

I spoke too soon.  The artist is selling her work as T-shirts cards and posters.  I wish the one's that are poster - with Duck putting out his dog and Don boozing in the car were t-shirts.
