What happened with the suitcase delivered to the Draper resistance in episode 11? Episode 12 did not mention this.

I thought Sally found it in the closet where Betty put her after catching her smoking - I thought she said - "His suitcase is here but he's not!"

Don--
I don't know about the suitcase. I was sure that Betty would meticulously examine its contents. Perhaps she did and found nothing of interest, nothing incriminating. Or maybe LOL Glen Bishop came along again while no one was home and took the suitcase from the porch. I'm only joking about Glen, but he has a strange fixation on Betty. He's like a mini-Don telling Betty "we can run away, I have money." That's about what Don said to Midge and Rachel in Season 1. The suitcase might be insignificant or it might have an importance that is revealed later. MadMen is such a tease!! I didn't hear Sally's comment that jkerouac mentioned. I'll pay closer attention to the scene of Sally in the closet when I watch the encore on Friday. |

OK - I just checked the podcast cause it was really bugging me - listen closely to the exchange when Betty leans her head against the door after closing Sally in the closet -
It's interesting that Don was separated from his belongings - the physical reminders of his old life. |

thanks LaAd girl and jkerouac:
Isn't it amazing how much you miss if you zone out for a minute? I'll be watching & listening more closely to that scene in the encore. |
